31 Days of Green Acres - Day 4 (Well, not really)

Sometimes, and in this case once a year, something important comes around that takes precedence over other commitments. (Like a 31 Days Series - self imposed no less)

Today I pause in the telling of our story to celebrate one of life's truest joys - a daughter.

We've called her our "Itty Bitty" for quite some time.

Can you see that's gonna need to change?

Chocolate cake, smiling faces, and exuberant kids filled the evening while we lived it up enjoying one another and her one wish - a rollerskating party in the barn!

  2. Followed your comment on Edie's blog and found you. I'll be reading more, but wanted to say that our daughter was called "Itsy Betsy" for the first two years. I love that nickname! :D

    1. Oh, Christie, a very warm welcome to you!
I don't use the kids names here, more for their independence and privacy than my own concerns.
But, it appears as though we have a family member with the same old fashioned charming name!

  3. ! The best thing in life is a daughter. We've got three. OH! I love that you call her itty-bitty. We called our first daughter "Baby It" until she was old enough to make us stop.

Itty Bitty is the youngest...wonder how long before she asks us to stop?
