Momma's helpers give encouragement, climb ladders, hold on to strings of bright lights, and do it all very cheerfully, too!
We L.O.V.E. Christmas at Liberty Farm, and everywhere else for that matter.
Bright colors, the anticipation of snow, our joy in giving gifts, the traditional once- a -year recipes we make, and the spirit of it all layers on itself, and we get swept away.
More importantly, though, we remember what the world waited for so long ago, a Savior. God in his majesty, mystery, and wisdom sent a tiny baby to redeem the world. And the wonder of it all has captured generation after generation.
So as I ready our home for our Christmas, (and a merry little blog house tour), I sing and dance with the kids, ooh and ahh over all the glitter, and talk with earnest belief about the Truth. The JOY we have right now in this season of Advent is only a shadow of what is to come.
